All options to me are valid as? long as the food is still fresh and usable. It all depends on what’s available in your area. thanks for your comment.

Ty I think this will not be overwhelming if folks just focus on what they really want to store – for example 7 days of food – 7 breakfasts,7 lunches, 7 dinners and 7 snacks and plan on sales from there. I’m pleasantly surprised myself at how easy and successful? this has been.

Ty actually this lot of food is for the food pantry where i volunteer- im donating this at the? end of the project. I already have my food storage in place for many years now…:)

If really tight on cash consider a grocery salvage store – they buy the broken boxes etc from grocery stores or Sam’s Club. You can get food every inexpensively there. Just google grocery salvage store to see if there is one in your area ๐Ÿ™‚ We have one near me and it is a great resource for my? prepper’s pantry ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it is? so ignorant and stupid for all these so called preppers to have pissing contests on youtube over who has spent the most and who has the most ammo//
wepons//food stores and such,,the feds and govt closely watch youtube to see who has what and they will be the first ones that get raided when shtf,, and there is no way in hell you can hold them off..they out number you by far.. I wouldn’t let any one know what and how much I have, friends family will betray you in life or death scean

Don`t forget a good supply of Meds, you sound? like you need them.

Not everything last for 25 years. Mostly stored dried grains. Check the website by manufacturer for shelf life. Most freezed dried and dehydrated fruits and vegatables? last 7 to 15 years. Powdered butter and cheese about 4 years. Some freezed dried meats can go to 25 years. Plus you need to keep it cool are you lose the food value.

  12. Carl Hinch

I can’t see where all this food is stored, but if its in a garage you are in trouble. In summer months where garages get up to 120 degrees don’t expect the food value to last much more than 3 to 4 years. It? will be eatable but no food value. It must be stored at 75 degrees or lower. The lower the temperature the longer it will last.

I wouldn’t worry about myself. If my family survived since before christ was a twinkle in gods eye? then I’m pretty sure debt, famine are nothing.

Nice Stores,BUT I would put retention straps/bungee cords on the front of all of your shelving.ALSO if you haven’t already I would strap the shelves themselves to the walls.Hate to? see you loose a lot of valuable food during a SHTF id what ever happened shook your stock off the shelves and damaged the cans(Tornado,Earthquake, etc)
